Rev. Seiko Obayashi

as an Intuitive Consultant and Seance Conductor

Seiko is a founding member of SCNYC and serves its board as a trustee. She also serves as chairperson for both General Design Committee and Public Relations Committee.

Seiko is a Seance Conductor and an Intuitive Consultant certified by the American Board of Holistic Practitioners. She is also a certified Reiki Master.

Seiko practices at an architectural firm in New York City. Within this framework, she had an opportunity to serve as a project architect for the development of a palliative care unit at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C.

A remarkable concept, palliative care is a medical service that focuses on relieving the mental, physical and spiritual suffering of terminally ill patients and their families. This was the perfect opportunity for Seiko to
combine her spiritual and architectural skills. This innovative prototype-facility opened its doors in January of 2007 and now provides a comfortable, homelike setting to allow returning wounded soldiers who are terminally ill to spend their remaining days with their loved ones.

Her design for this institution not only promotes the physical comfort provided by the latest technology and improves on the functions required for a medical facility, but also addresses the psychological well-being of patients with the design of invisible elements--creating and deepening an abiding link of the body, mind, and spirit.

Seiko also facilitates private sessions to help clients achieve their goals by creating an individualized approach to intention work. Drawing on her intuition and experience to design "the work", she also incorporates a wide range of traditions including Hermetic Science and Spiritual Alchemy.
