A Spiritualist Message Service
Communication with Spirit is a central part of Spiritualist practice, and messages from Spirit are often among the most meaningful moments of a service at the Spiritualist Church of New York City.
During our Spiritualist Message Services, certified mediums share messages they receive from the Spirit World with members of the congregation. These messages may offer comfort, encouragement, inspiration, or a sense of continuing connection with those who have passed.
While we cannot guarantee that every person attending will receive an individual message, being present and participating in the service provides an opportunity to experience mediumship within the supportive atmosphere of our Spiritualist community.
Our Message Services may also include an interactive meet-and-greet, an inspirational talk, and a guided meditation, creating an opportunity to gather, reflect, and open ourselves to the experience of the service.
A Spiritualist Healing Service
Our Spiritualist Healing Services provide an opportunity to experience healing within the supportive setting of our congregation.
A distinctive feature of these services is our “Chair Healing” practice. Participants are invited to sit in specially arranged chairs while our certified healers stand behind them and prepare to channel healing light and energy.
During the healing portion of the service, participants are invited to come forward and receive an individual healing. You may choose the healer you feel intuitively drawn toward, creating a personal and meaningful experience for each participant.
The Chair Healing process is explained during the service, which may also include an interactive meet-and-greet, an inspirational talk, and a guided meditation intended to help create a focused and receptive atmosphere for healing.
Our healing meditation may also include an intention for healing energy to be directed toward those who are not physically present.
Spiritualist Message Circles
A Message Circle, also known as a séance, offers a more intimate setting for exploring spirit communication and psychic phenomena.
Our Message Circles are conducted for small groups and led by psychic-mediums and certified séance conductors. Working within the collective energy of the circle, participants are invited to become receptive to the possibility of communication with Spirit and the experience of psychic phenomena.
Every effort is made to provide each participant with an individual message. However, a personal message cannot be guaranteed, as the number of participants and the time available may affect how many messages can be delivered.
Because maintaining the atmosphere and continuity of the circle is important, late admission is not permitted once the circle has begun.
In-Person Message Circles
Our in-person Message Circles are held following our Tuesday evening services and are also an exciting feature of our Psychic-Medium & Healing Fairs.
In-person circles are limited to approximately 15 participants.
The cost is $20 per person, payable by cash or Zelle before the start of the event. A limited number of places may also be available on the evening of an event, subject to availability.
Virtual Zoom Message Circles
We also offer Message Circles online via Zoom, allowing participants to join from wherever they are.
Tickets for virtual circles must be purchased in advance through our designated online registration platform.
Psychic-Medium & Healing Fairs
Our Psychic-Medium & Healing Fairs bring together a range of experienced practitioners and provide an opportunity to explore different forms of psychic insight, mediumship, and spiritual healing in one welcoming setting.
During these events, SCNYC offers one-on-one appointments in 20-minute sessions with certified professional readers, psychic-mediums, light workers, and healers.
Individual sessions may provide insight and reflection around areas such as relationships, career, family, finances, life direction, and your spiritual journey. Our participating practitioners may also offer spiritual healing and other approaches intended to support your personal exploration and wellbeing.
